As we saw it before, Muso Jikiden Eishin Ryu is connected to ancient Japanese tradition by many threads. Iwata sensei himself has learnt from many sensei of various iaido schools. Therefore, there are many kinds of classifying Muso Jikiden Eishin Ryu katas, according to various traditions of different schools. In the following pages you will find the result of collecting MJER naming systems by Pasi Hallstén sensei, and Neil Kemp sensei. As for MJER EC in Hungary, the first one is the most important, because we learn iaido from Iwata sensei, and his students.
